What survived is genuinely remarkable: a 7,000-square-foot main house with period rooms largely intact, a separate historic office, a 1912 garage, a granary, and a date orchard still rooted in the original grounds. It earned a spot on the National Register of Historic Places, and once you are inside, you understand why.

The Rooms Are the Point

The interior is full of details worth slowing down for. There is a taxidermy room that stops most visitors cold, a golf room with an actual putting green, school artifacts, and vintage family pieces throughout. Out back, the separate office building holds vintage clerical items and a rare cannonball safe that tends to get its own moment in every tour. None of it feels staged or over-restored.
